Claire has a BSc Honours in Equine Science having studied at Bishop Burton in Yorkshire. Having started working with horses from the age of 16, Claire previously worked with Ruth Edge (3 Day Eventer) and groomed for Ruth at major events such as Badminton, Blenheim and Gatcombe. Claire's main role with Ruth was on the dressage side though and it was at the dressage competitions that she met Amy.
Since leaving school Laura has worked full time helping run her family's livery yard and Pulborough Stud standing the cremello thoroughbred stallion, Electrum and breeding and producing thoroughbred sport and racing horses.
Laura has shown in-hand at County Level with the studs young stock and has also competed with them as a regular team member for her Riding Club in all disciplines.
Dressage is her preferred discipline which has led her to Amy and she is now enjoying and benefiting from Amy's and Claire's vast experience. Laura's goal is to ride her own horses at a higher level in the future.
Phil is an accomplished rider and businessman in his own right, co-owning a successful dressage training and livery yard as well as producing and selling young dressage horses. He has an impressive competition record, competing many young horses on behalf of their owners and achieving a place at the Winter Championships in 2012. Phil's ambition is to ride at Grand Prix and is hoping his time with Amy will help him achieve this.
With a background of advertising and communications, Rachel has assisted Amy since 2004. Having grown up around horses and worked at various competition yards she too has a strong passion for horses. She has two of her own, a dressage bred gelding and a jumping mare of whom she will be competing this year. Rachel initially met Amy through mutual friend Johanna Hedberg, when Amy first went to try MacBrian.
